Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan – The supreme leader of the Islamic State’s (IS/ISIS) extremist group, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, delivered a speech in an audio recording on Thursday, demanding his supporters to “erupt the volcanos of jihad against enemies of Allah”.

Al-Baghdadi’s speech, shared on jihadist websites, comes days after news about his injury during a U.S.-led airstrike in northwestern Iraqi town of al-Qaim.

The recording, which was described by Flashpoint Intelligence as “authentic”, was released basically to emphasize that the Caliph is still alive and his location was not hit by any strikes, according to observers.

“O’ soldiers of the Islamic State, continue to harvest the soldiers,” al-Baghdadi said. “Erupt volcanoes of jihad everywhere. Light the Earth with fire.”

The radical leader claimed the bombing campaign against ISIS in Syria and Iraq is failing.

“America and its allies are terrified, weak, and powerless.”

“Our Jihadist will never stop fighting; they will be triumphant, even if only one man of them is left,” al-Baghdadi stressed.

He also referred to the Egyptian extremist group of Ansar Bait al-Maqdis, which has recently sworn allegiance to the Islamic State and its Caliph.

Al-Baghdadi called on jihadis to launch attacks against Saudi Arabia, emphasizing that his caliphates will expand throughout the Arab world.

In an official statement released last week, the United States’ Central Command confirmed that their fighter jets targeted leaders of the extremists groups northwestern Iraq.

Although witnesses reported al-Baghdadi’s injury, the Central Command didn’t confirm the death of al-Baghdadi.
