DUHOK – Spanish and Moroccan authorities arrested Sunday 10 suspects for links with the radical group of Islamic State (ISIS), Spain’s interior ministry said.
The suspects were captured for recruiting fighters to join the ranks of the ISIS extremist group in Syria and Iraq.
Spain’s interior ministry said in a statement that the suspects were detained in the Spanish cities of Toledo and Badalona, and the Moroccan city of Casablanca.
“Those arrested belong to a network of people that recruited, indoctrinated and sent foreign fighters to join Daesh (ISIS),” the ministry said on Sunday.
